Message from his Eminence Metropolitan Archbishop Paul Saliba

To esteemed members of the Archdiocese,

As we reflect on the development of the Archdiocese over the last 10 years we acknowledge the work and dedication of the members. It is through their hard work, that the growth and success of the Archdiocese can be attributed.

The future however, poses many challenges on many fronts. The growth of the church must continue, but in saying that we must nurture our youth as well as plan for our parents and grandparents.

The Lord has presented us with an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy both for the future of our children, and the care and welfare of our beloved elderly. The St Michael’s facility in Goulburn is the cornerstone toward the development of the future of the Archdiocese and it's members, both young and old.

As you can see from the Antiochian Village Flyer, the investment required in sustaining the purchase and continued operation of the facilities is a substantial one. We do not shy away from this challenge, but accept, with faith and hope, that it will be achieved with the support and generosity of the faithful members of our Archdiocese. In this way we will achieve the task that the Lord has set before us.

We ask you, to pledge, any affordable sum of money via weekly pledge of $20 or $10 or whatever you wish, so that the work of the Holy Spirit can continue.

God Bless you and your families.

+Paul
